I remember Aunt Elaine & Uncle Bill came into town for Red's retirement party. & then the band took a break & Aunt Elaine sat on floor & began to play with the younger kids. She was having so much fun. She loved babies & children. . I'm blessed because I have so many memories. Trouper she was, went to Cedar Point, she rode no Coasters, her fear. But she did participate in other rides. She was fun, & I loved how many stories she would share. I love You Aunt Elaine
There was a continuous calm loving warmth that emanated from Auntie Elaine that was felt by all the senses.
The motherly loving gaze from her eyes calmed your emotions.
Her unique sense of humor and laughter was contagious and filled the room as it warmed your heart.
Her beautiful gifted voice was pleasing to not just my ears while she was in the kitchen on holidays, but to God's ears as she sang at the Vatican.
She shared her energy selflessly with all who were willing to receive. This could especially be felt in her warm soft hugs that enveloped you like your favorite blanket. It could also be felt flowing through her hands while she was performing Reiki over your body.
Auntie Elaine was not selfish or underhanded. She was consistently fair and loving. That doesn't mean you weren't scolded or schooled for doing something wrong (for which I am thankful). She believed in honor and dignity and doing your best. She believed in living according to God's laws and Christian principles. She believed in telling the truth, working hard for what you want in life and she believed in helping and sharing and playing fairly.
Auntie Elaine is THE quintessential woman, mother, wife, sister, auntie, friend, grandma and great grandma that this planet earth so desperately needs to become a better place. I will miss her greatly, the family will miss her greatly and the earth will suffer just a little bit more without her bright light pushing back against the darkness.

Elaine was 22 months younger than me . So when she wanted to play we always played together. I was always interested in mechanical stuff and so my mother bought me a sewing machine at SA. With scraps of material we made doll clothes. We always had great fun together.
I am fortunate to be able to say that I could share many memories of mom aka Elaine or Mrs. Kowalski as some would call her. Growing up if we weren’t sleeping over in the family room or camping for a week in the woods then chances were high we were somewhere else getting ready for our next outing and discussing important plans to accomplish while on the Kowalski family outing:) Elaine was a mother to many of us. If we were in the house the morning of church we went to church. If we were over when it was time for Ballys fitness then we all went to Ballys to swim. Elaine and Bill raised way more than 4 kids and I will have all of those precious memories forever. From being buckled down in the back of the station wagon to being old enough to drive alone and follow. She lived a great life and she gave many a better life to live . She will be deeply missed, always appreciated and never forgotten.
