Elaine Haverly's Obituary
Elaine E. Haverly Dec. 21, 1930 to Aug. 5, 2014 Elaine, age 83, formerly of Tacoma, passed away peacefully in Forks, WA, surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife and mother. For a number of years she was employed by the Metropolitan Park District, where she was adored by the people who frequented the Wright Park Senior Center. Besides the enjoyment she received from her hobbies of embroidery, crocheting, and making stuffed animals, she was also a loving Gramma. She married Wayne M. Haverly April 29, 1951 in Lodi, CA. Wayne passed away on March 31, 2009. She is survived by daughters Debby and husband Frank Teachout of Forks, WA, Kathy and husband John Harris of Lewiston, ID, and Nancy Haverly of Forks, WA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Les Schneider, Tracy Cornish, Jenny Harris, Brett Harris, and John Teachout, 7 great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, a sister, Joyce Ratola of Walnut Grove, CA, and many nieces and nephews. Viewing is Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 4-8pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, Graveside service is 12:30pm Wednesday, with viewing available for one hour prior, also at Mountain View.
