Elaine Marie Dunn's Obituary
Elaine (White) Dunn who was a life time resident of Tacoma, was called home to her heavenly Father on May 3rd, 2016. Elaine was born on October 23rd, 1962 to Irene White and Rodney Jones. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age and was a member Sheridan Street Community Church of God.
Elaine attended Stadium High School before entering the workforce as a care giver and custodial engineer. She was a loving caring person who went out of her way for anyone in need. Outgoing and out spoken in her ways, she was known for her huge heart and also for her exceptional culinary skills following in her mother Irene’s and aunt Jeanette’s footsteps. After her medical retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory her special friend Donald Lofton, three wonderful sons; Michael (Bianca), Lamont and Marcus, 7 grandchildren: Quazzel, Makeya, Breanna, Nadzhe’, Jonae, Johnny and Myka, three brothers; Eugene, Andy and Duey (Sally) and three sisters; Beverly, Yvonne (Robert) and Yvette, her best friend for over 40 years Toni, Dominique and Nicole who were like daughter’s to her, as well as a host of cousins, nephews and nieces, friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Ethel.
