Elaine B. MarshallElaine was born on Sep. 26, 1927 to Otto and Irene Ruff in Tacoma, WA and passed away peacefully on Apr. 8, 2004.Elaine is survived by her two beloved daughters, Elizabeth Barrett, Casey Hutzell and their spouses, Robert Flosi and John Hutzell, grandsons David and Steven Hutzell, brother Robert Ruff, half sister Patti Maun, aunt Becky Wahlund, and her loyal cats Kashi and Patches.Elaine spent her younger years in San Francisco but was drawn back to the Pacific Northwest where she resided in Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond. She spent five years in Alaska where she worked as an executive secretary up on the North Slope. Upon her return to Lakewood, Elaine worked for the Clover Park School District as an administrative assistant. Elaine was a lifelong Mariners fan.At her request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice or your favorite charity.
