Eileen Ruth DarlandEileen Ruth Darland was born in LaJunta, Colorado on April 22, 1929 and died in Tacoma, Washington on December 23, 2003. She lived most of her life in Tacoma, where she attended Lincoln High School.Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Robert Darland, her son, Michael Darland, and her brother, Charles Hobby.She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Hobby, of Vancouver, sister-in-law, Vivian Hobby, of University Place, and two half-sisters, June Manlove of Dexter, Missouri, and Betty Smith of Billings, Montana.She is also survived by her son Patrick Darland and his wife, LeAnna; her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Darland; grandchildren Sean Darland, Kristin Darland Tomlinson, Jason Darland, and Robert Darland, as well as her two precious great-granddaughters, Marin Tomlinson and Emma Darland.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 27th at Immanuel Celebration Church, 9244 Pacific Avenue, at 12:00 PM.Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at 1200 Sixth Avenue Suite 605, Seattle WA 98101.Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252
