Eileen Joos' Obituary
Eileen R. Joos, 87, passed away August 14, 2013 in Gig Harbor, WA. She was born on April 4, 1927 to Ivan E. and Edna M. (Cooper) Parse.
Eileen Graduated from the Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Wa. She married Andrew W. Joos in Tacoma. Eileen worked as a Secretary for Tacoma Community College retiring in 1990 after serving 15 years. She attended Adventure of Faith Church in Port Orchard and was a member of the Eagles and their R.V. Club.
Her most important events were the birth of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, travels to Europe, Hawaii, and throughout the U.S.A. especially the Ocean with her husband, brother and wife in their R.V.s. Eileen’s favorite music and musicians were Big Band, Johnny Mathis and the Andrew Sisters.
She is survived by daughters Teresa (Teri) Daugherty of Port Orchard, WA and Sharon Baker of Ramona, CA; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew in 2012.
Memorial service will be held at 3pm, Friday, September 6, 1013 at Mountain View Funeral Home’s Celebration of Life Center.
