Edward Wright's Obituary
Edward S. (Eddie) Wright of Gig Harbor, Washington died peacefully on October 29, 2022. Born on April 28, 1923, Eddie said he would live to be 100 years old or die trying. He missed his goal by exactly 6 months. Eddie lived his life in the Tacoma/Gig Harbor area, served in the Navy during World War II, and owned and managed a marine machine shop and propeller repair business for many years. Married for 73 years, he and his wife Rachel raised a family that includes two sons, one daughter, several grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A celebration of life is scheduled for November 29 at 2:00 p.m., Chapel Hill Church, 7700 Skansie Ave, Gig Harbor, WA
