To the Hansch family: Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences for your recent loss.
Ed was a good friend of mine with a great sense of humor. We worked together for several years at JET Equipment & Tools in Tacoma, WA. Our days in the parts department during the 80s were a lot of fun and I'll always remember the good times we shared.
Ed was a gifted storyteller who quite often amused me and others when he spun a tale or cracked a joke. He brought joy to my life and many others with his charm and wit.
My memories of him and the years we shared together will not be forgotten.##imported-begin##John Stahl##imported-end##
Words cannot begin to express the sorrow we feel. Although we only knew Ed for a very short time he touched our lives in a very spiritual way. From the first moment we met him it was as if we’d known him forever. We consciously do not know why Ed was brought into our lives, but he was sent for a reason and we are grateful that God choose and blessed this family with his presence. We will never forget the love Ed so freely shared and he will be deeply missed. Over time the clouds will part and the sun will come through for his family and others who he so deeply touched.

Ed came into my life for a short time, but in that short time I had with him he taught me what happiness is, and to live each day as it was your last. Ed touched the hearts of so many people. Some he will never know how much he really touched them. Ed was a very loving, caring, and giving man. It made him happy to help others and to see them happy. I loved him very much and he will be really missed. I was very lucky to have had him in my life.
It is always so evident the god knows, when we are in need of a angel\\\'s touch. Bringing a special person into our life, at times when we need them so much.

I worked with Ed at Jet Equipment for 13 years. We had a grand time! He was a wonderful friend. What a great father he was. He lived for his boys. Everything he did was with them in mind. I will miss him greatly, I think of him often.
