Edward Robert Doyle's Obituary
Edward (Ed) Robert Doyle, was born on October 21, 1924
and went to heaven on November 20, 2008.
He was born in Redwood City, California to Leo and Grace Doyle. He lived in Southern California until joining the service in 1942.
Ed served in both World War II and the Korean War. In October 1951, he married the love of his life, Beverly.
After more than 20 years in the Air Force, Ed retired and returned to Tacoma where he started working as an electrician, eventually becoming president of Danard Electric Company.
Ed's passion was camping and traveling! Whether it was a weekend outing or a several month trip to Yuma, Ed was always ready to go with his beloved Bev by his side. They loved every minute of their 57 years together. Besides his beloved wife, Ed is survived by their four children, Shirley (Larry) Shilley, Mike (Bonnie) Doyle, Debbie (Bill) James, and Ken (Sandy) Doyle, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
