When I was small, on the weekends my dad had me, we would walk to the thrifty’s across the way from his apartment to get an ice cream cone. I got to tell him all about the last 2 weeks and we would enjoy our ice cream while walking to the playground.

My dad made sure to take my brother and I to museums, old town, the zoo….any activity where we could learn something. He was the best dad I could have asked for. Always there to listen, always.
