Edward Gonsorowski, 91 from Washington passed away on October 29, 2021 Edward will be missed and is loved by many family and friends.
Ed was born and raised in Argyle, Mn. At the age of 17 Ed joined the USAF in 1947 and was stationed in Germany. His next assignment was his best Mcchord AFB, WA where he met Lois Croft and soon married. Back to Germany they went and there first Daughter Susan was born. There next assignment was Dover, Delaware where Ed's first son Don was born. Ed was then sent on a remote location to Peshwar, AFB Pakistan for 18 months. Then back this time to Andrews,AFB Md and his second son Dennis was born. Then reassigned to Kelly, AFB TX. Then the family was reassigned to Chicksands, AFB England and his third son Eddie was born. Then reassigned to Shulinkou, AFB Taiwan.
Then reassigned to Plattsburgh, AFB, NY. This was the base Ed retired from after almost 24 years of service and attaining the proud rank of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). The family moved back and settled in Tacoma, WA where Lois and Ed first met. Ed epitomized the value of work. Coming from a large family and raised on a farm was always talked about by him.
