Ed was an outstanding officer and more importantly, a great human being. When we were stationed with him at Fort Lewis, he and Sandi helped our family through a very difficult time in our lives. We will never forget him, and the example he and Sandi set for many a military family. So very sorry to learn of his passing, and pray that Sandi and children are doing well. I am shocked and upset to hear of Ed's passing because he was not only a good childhood friend but also a fellow veteran. Those are two strong bonds that endure over time.
