When I first came to USA from India, Midge was the first American Lady who opened her house to me and took me under her wing as one of the kids who spent many evenings watching TV and eating the goulash she made for us. I will never forget her or Ben, they took me to picnics in Pilchuck, Fishing and Ocean Shores in their big Cadillac. The good times I had with her and her family, carrying her daughter Joy on my shoulders when she had a hurt leg walking down to the Steilacoom Post Office or hanging out at the Docks. I can never thank her or Ben enough for the welcome they gave to a foreigner who had no one here. Thank you Midge and Ben for being there, you will never be forgotten.
