Edna Mae Wallace's Obituary
The Lord called her home while sleeping on Jan. 14, 2005. She was 76 years of age.Edna was born July, 4, 1928 in Beaverton, AL to the late Lucy Wallace, the youngest of seven children. Edna moved to Tacoma, WA in 1955. Edna was a member of the St. John Baptist Church. She was employed at the Thigs Nursing Home for 14 ½ years as a Nurse Aide.Edna loved to be with people. She loved fishing, music, dancing, parties, crossword puzzles; and being with her family and friends, talking, laughing and having fun.EdnaÂ's greatest passion, pride, and joy was working in her yard and garden. Edna was presented Â"Outstanding Yard AwardÂ" from the Hilltop Action Coalition on April 15, 2000.Edna leaves to cherish her memory one sister Addie L. Hughes, whom Edna spoke to every day, one uncle, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.EdnaÂ's service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center.
