Sunrise on May 7, 1929 in Colfax, WA and sunset on April 2, 2006 in Tacoma, Washington. She is the 3rd daughter of 4 children of Philip and Pauline Litzenberger.Edna graduated High School in St. John, WA. She worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Telegraph and Telephone. She also worked as the bookkeeper for the family business, Beals Spraying & Landscaping.Edna met the love of her life Forrest E. Beals and was married for 52 years. They raised two children, Vicki & Craig.Edna was a member of The Tacoma WomenÂ's Bowling Assoc. for 38 years. She was on the Â"All Star 2nd SquadÂ" for years.Survivors are daughter Vicki (Dale) Reed of Tacoma, WA, son Forrest Craig (Peggy) Beals of Savannah, GA, sisters Lucille James, Betty Meyer of Spokane, WA & brother Donald Litzenberger of Middleton, ID; 4 grandchildren Carrie (Brandon) Merle & James Reed of Tacoma, WA, Tyler & Kaitlin Beals of Savannah, GA; 1 great-grandchild Gavin Merle of Tacoma, WA, and many nieces, nephews & cousins.Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2006 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2006 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
