Edith was born May 27, 1924 in Sedalia, MO and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 16, 2014 in Puyallup, WA. Edith graduated from Puyallup High School
in 1942. Edith is preceded in death by her husband of 60-plus years James. Mom was a commanding presence in life. Her favorite things were her family and her garden, and she
was also very crafty. Edith was a member of the LDS Church and the Waller Road Grange. She is survived by her sister Alma; brother Marvin; daughter Linda; sons George, David
and James; numerous Grand, Great, and Great-Great-grandchildren; and her several foster
children she lovingly cared for over many years. A public visitation will be held Thursday, August 21at Mountain View Funeral Home from 10am to 8pm. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday, August 22, 2014 in the Valley Chapel at Mountain View. Interment immediately following in Mountain View Memorial Park.
Family suggests donations to the Cancer Society or a local Foster Children organization.
