Such a beautiful cousin…. a gem; Edith was a godly woman, …. a loving woman who approached life’s interactions always with a kind and gentle heart. She was a one of a kind relative. We’ve lost a gem but the legacy she leaves in her family is solidified and therefore remains for the ages. In this, Edith lives on.
Mrs. Reed and her husband and children are longtime family friends. She is so special to me as she attended my very unexpected wedding when I was 19 and bought me my first set of household dishes as a wedding gift. She was supportive and loving towards me and my family and we lost our husbands the same week and attended each of there funerals. Her faith and friendship towards my Mom will never be forgotten! She was a true Mother in the faith and will be missed. I was blessed to see her a few days before she passed with my Mom because she called her. Now she is in the presence of Jesus and at peace! My deepest condolences to the family!
A very dear friend and co -worker of my Mother's. The Reed family was family to us growing up. She will be truly missed by the Dixon family!
