Edith Hilda Knesal's Obituary
Edith Hilda Knesal Edie was born June 15, 1926 in Lisbon, North Dakota to Andrew and Helga Larson. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 26th in Gig Harbor. She lived the past 16 years in Puyallup and the previous 45 years in Tacoma. She worked for the telephone company and as a manager for the Bon Marche Distribution Center in Tukwila. She worked with her husband Dick to manage and run their small and successful construction business. Edie was a great cook and a heck of a gardener and was known for her sense of humor. She loved and cherished her family. Edith was preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd (Dick) Knesal, her parents, brother Jens, and sister Sylvia. She is survived by her sisters Pearl Brown and Alice Hiam, daughter Paula Hope-Simeona (Steve), sons Gary Hope (Barbara) and Steven Hope (Susan), and grandchildren Doreen and Charles Simeona, Alexandra and Grant Hope and Logan Hope. Services will be held Friday, October 31, 2008 at 10am in the Mountain View Garden Chapel in Tacoma.
