Edith Bertha Ketcheson's Obituary
Edith B. Ketcheson Died December 15, 2010, in Tacoma, Wash. She was 92. Born February 13, 1918, in Baldur, Manitoba, Edith moved to Portland, Ore., in 1947 with her husband Orville (who died in 1983) and son, Roy. She moved to Tacoma in 1961 with Orville and their three children and pursued a nursing career for more than 20 years at Tacoma General Hospital, caring for terminal and critically ill oncology patients. She practiced yoga and loved gardening, books and, especially, her family. Practical, generous and kind, Edith was dearly loved by her children, Roy of Tacoma, Judy Stearns of Purcellville, Virginia, and Kathi of Portland, Ore.; and grandchildren Frank, Brian, Joseph and Kelsey. Services were held December 20, 2010, in Mountain View Funeral Home, Lakewood, Wash. Donations in Edith's name suggested to Rescue Mission, P.O.
