Earnest Eugene Butler's Obituary
Earnest Eugene Butler was born to James Solomon and Annie Mae Butler; he was born in Sunflower County, Mississippi on August 14, 1940 and departed his life on August 30, 2011 in Tacoma, Washington at home after a long illness. He grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina where he attended the city schools. He joined the Army and served in Vietnam as a Combat Medical Specialist. He continued working at the VA Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington and retired from Western State Hospital.
Earnest Eugene Butler is survived by his wife, Aicha Tina Butler; one son, Eugene L. Butler; four grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Davis, Willie Mae Butler, and Ernestine Butler; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
