Earlene Dalphine Jones' Obituary
Earlene D. Jones 12/12/1936 - 2/21/2009 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend Earlene Jones was called home to the Lord Saturday afternoon, Feb. 21, 2009. She was born in Blue Rapids, Kansas and moved to Tacoma around the age of 4. She became a life-long resident in a city she loved. She was preceded in death by her husband of many tender loving years, William Jones, and her wonderful father Melvin E. Barrett. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her surviving relatives: her mother Grace Barrett; two brothers, William Barrett, Ronald Barrett; her four children, Jim Jones, Vickey Stellfox, Sandra Jones and Michael Jones. She had 9 grandchildren, Amanda Woolery, Stephanie Powers, Timothy Woolery, Adam Jones, Jason Jones, Casandra Woolery, Jessica Spargo, Amber Woolery, and Jamie Jones, also her beloved great-granddaughters Lillian Woolery and Zoey Powers. Earlene was a proud mother and wife, dedicating her life to providing for and caring for her family. One could not have a better mother - always there for us, always putting our needs before her own. Viewing will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Thurs. from 3-9pm, and on Fri. from Noon-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Feb. 28, 2009 at 2pm in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
