EARL DAHLSTROM
Earl was born in Fromberg, MT Feb. 14, 1924, and died in Tacoma, WA Nov. 26, 2011. He was a professional body and fender mechanic until 2008, when he retired. He was second of 12 children. Earl was preceded in death by his first wife of 60 years, Theresa (Althoff), his parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife Marcella Dahlstrom of Spanaway, WA, daughters Bev (Kevin) Flagler and Connie (Al) Bell, and grandson Matt Zawada of Montana, granddaughter Wendy Zawada and great-grandson Jake Palin of South Dakota. Also, stepsons Miles (Sheila) Yost and Michael (Deb) Yost, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. Earl and Marcella reunited after a 65-year interruption, meeting and dating during WWII, then going separate ways after the war. A chance visit to Montana brought Marcy and Earl back together. Their life together was way too short, but brought great joy. A very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Waltman, his nurses Audrey, Gennelle, Mary Beth, Mary Kate, and Kathleen his ARNP. Also, Dr. Vacarro, the Heart Clinic, Allenmore Hospital, and Orchard Park. Earl is being cremated and remains will be buried in Montana. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Montana. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
