Earl Samuel Archer's Obituary
Earl Samuel Archer, much loved brother, uncle and friend, passed away August 29, 2004, at the age of 86 in Puyallup, WA. He was born February 21, 1918, in Northport, WA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Gambill. Earl is survived by his brothers, Bruce E. Gambill, Sr. (Doris), Edgar Gambill (Nadine); sister Margaret Cox; a niece that had a special place in his heart, Sharon Knowles (Dan); great-nieces, Danette Knowles Schatz (Russell), Nicole Knowles, Natalie Scowden (Eric), Lindsay Gambill, and Marsha Brennen; nephew Bruce Gambill, Jr., and great-nephew Jason Gambill. He also left behind many good friends, including Darlene and Ken Nelson, Carol Pearson, Mary Michelson, and Rod Rogers, all in Spokane where Earl spent most of his years. Earl was very proud to have worked many years at St. LukeÂ's Memorial Hospital in Spokane. EarlÂ's special gift was his great sense of humor and giving gifts and bringing joy to others. Earl resided at the Kensington Assisted Living in Tacoma for two years and made many friends there. Earl also received loving care from all the staff at Linden Grove where he spent his last days.At the familyÂ's request there will be no funeral services.
