Earl Goodlow Jr.'s Obituary
Earl Goodlow Jr. was born in Hugo, Oklahoma May 9, 1934 to Earl Goodlow Sr. and Mary Terrell.
Tobe Redic married Earl's mother Mary Terrell and raised Earl as his son when Earl was one years old.
Earl met his beloved wife Florine in Tacoma, Washington in the 1950's and they were united in marriage in February 1960. Florine was the love of his life. They were inseparable. You would never see one without the other.
Earl attended Texas college where he received a bachelor degree of science in biology. He served two years in the U.S. Army where he was a medical spec and a physician assistant. Earl received good conduct medal and honorable discharge. Earl retired after 32 years from the department of defense.
Earl was a member of the tee and turf golf club for over 45 years. Golfing was his passion where he received numerous trophies.
Everyone who knew Earl knows of his famous homemade BBQ sauce and those famous BBQ ribs that would melt in your mouth. His homemade chili was everyone's favorite too. There was so many request for those ribs and chili for special events.
Earl is preceded in death by his father, Earl Goodlow Sr., his mother Mary Terrell-Redic, his other father, Tobe Redic, his brother Rudolph Wrens and his sister Esther Jeffries.
Earl is survived by his wife of 59 years Florine Goodlow; daughter Florita (Willard) Mitchell, son Tracy (Lori) Goodlow, son Kenneth Goodlow, daughter Dannetta Goodlow, son Gary (Cassandra) Goodlow, daughter Kay Frazier; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Earl Goodlow Jr. will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
