Earl Edward Weeks' Obituary
Earl was born in Greentown, IN and traveled to Tacoma at the age of nine months with his parents Noah and Maude Weeks. He passed from complications due to an aortic aneurism. Earl graduated from Lincoln High School, Tacoma and the Industrial Technical School in Chicago. He had worked at Boeing, The U.S. Corps of Engineers, and retired after 33 years of working at the Veterans Hospital. He served in the armed forces during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion. Earl was a very detail oriented man, an avid fisherman, loved golfing, ice skating, camping and working out at the YMCA. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy, sons Bruce and Gary of Tacoma; daughter Christine (Curtis) Bates of Renton; sister Fern, Tacoma; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by son David, one great grandchild Zachariah, sister Lorene, and brother Harold.
