E. Lawrence "Larry" Zarelli's Obituary
E. Lawrence “Larry” Zarelli, 78, went to be with the lord March 20, 2019, 6 days shy of his 79th birthday.
Born March 26, 1940 to Ernest “Ernie” and Eleanore (McKee) Zarelli, he was a lifelong resident of Lakewood, WA and graduated from Clover Park High School in 1959. After high school, he worked at Zarelli’s Restaurant (owned and operated by his parents at Center and Union Streets) in the 60’s-70’s. He then went on to become an entrepreneur. He bought several motor homes that he would rent out for additional income and opened his own laundry business in 1976. After he sold the business in 1979, he retired for medical reasons. His favorite hobbies included dining out at new restaurants and critiquing the food, couponing and spotting bargains, crossword puzzles, and keeping up with his loved ones pictures and videos on his tablet.
Larry was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother Ron.
Survivors include his brother Dick, sisters Marlene and Gina, his 4 children: sons Dominic and Loren, daughters Jenny and Gina, and 6 grandchildren: Tyler, Britani, Ashley, Antonio, Brooke and Brady.
A celebration of life will be held at Mama Stortini’s Restaurant in Puyallup Saturday, April 6th at 1:30 p.m.
