We will miss him at laure House. I will miss his smile that he gave me every morning, and a hand shake.
He also said how wounderful his family was. He does have a wounderful family.
God bless him and his family.

I have a lot of good memories, especially on the golf course. He and Myrna are probably creating all kinds of mischief and music in Heaven. We are thinking of all of you and you are in our prayers.
Love,

We have your family in our prayers for comfort and reassurance that Uncle Boen is in God's hands. Over the years we enjoyed his poetry regarding the Covey family and all their antics, or should I say adventures. We are sorry we will miss the memorial service, but we will be there in spirit.
In Christ's Love,

The Officers and Members of Port Orchard Chapter would like to express their condolences to Ben's family. Ben has been a member of our chapter for fifty plus years and even though we didn't get to see him much, there are still many friends of his attending. He will be missed by all.##imported-begin##Rose Gross, Secretary Port Orchard Chapter #44 Order of the Eastern Star##imported-end##
Dear Gaye and Dave and Don, When I saw the obituary of your father in the Tacoma newspaper, I felt as if I had been hit in the solar plexus. I remember both of your folks very well and always liked them a great deal. They were very good to me as a young person and would listen to whatever I had to say and didn't treat me as kid...Of course I was a kid.
Both of my folks are now gone, too. Mom in 98 and Dad in 99. I still can't believe this and miss them greatly. There are gigantic bursts of memory that just stagger me. I know your folks were of the same quality.
Dad used to ride the ferry with your father and during the World's Fair, they both were activly involved. Dad was the Budget Director of King County and I know your Dad was one of the key engineers at the Center. I know that my Mom and your Mom were often co-chairs of the PTA at Orchard Heights and were always involved with the schools. As a retired teacher I am more in debt to them than they ever could realize.
I am sorry I can't be at the funeral of your Dad on August 2, but my sister Jill's youngest son is getting married that day.
I last saw Gaye at a SK job fair about l5 years ago and it was hectic. Dave, I don't know when I last saw you and Don, but maybe it was 40 years ago? Where has the time gone?
I just wanted to let you know that there are still a few people from the Port Orchard area who still remember your folks. I guess the giants really are falling.
If you would ever like to get together, we are at 425.957.4743

Please accept sincere sympathy and condolences on the loss of Ben. My Dad - Darrell - got to meet him and share some time in the dining room at Laurel House over the past four to five months and enjoyed him greatly. We will miss him.
