Dwyane Louis Johnson's Obituary
Dwyane L. Johnson, beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Joe and Betty Johnson on March 19, 1956.
Dwyane attended Birmingham city schools and graduated from Gardendale High in 1974. After graduation, he enlisted in the Army branch of the United States military where he served for 25 years. To continue his life's journey, he became an employee of the Boeing company in Seattle, Washington and worked at various plants of the Boeing Co for 41 years until his passing.
Dwyane confessed a love for Jesus Christ at an early age, and departe his early life for his heavenly one on March 7, 2023.
Dwyane is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Betty Johnson and son Dwyane L. Johnson, Jr.
He leaves many who love and cherish his memory: wife Miyoko Lister Johnson of 16 years, mother-in-law Thelma L. Lister, three daughters Ki Cain of Seattle, Amia (Kenny) Jones of Arizona, Tierra (Sean) McKeller of Seattle, four sons Deion (Sheae) Lister of Tacoma, IIsiah Ferguson of Tacoma, SiCorey Bradford of Tacoma, SiHarvey Lister of Tacoma, five sisters Brenda Martin, Carolyn Pitts, Pam (Ron) Chaney, Cynthia Johnson, and Tanja Johnson, all from Birmingham, Alabama. Thirteen grandchildren: Shariyah, Eric, Tahjai, Amirah, Joey, Nia, Karmelo, Heiress, Nayvia, Kenneth, Kaleb, Knowledge, and Knazeal.
