Dwight Carlton Wilson Jr.'s Obituary
Dwight “DC” Wilson Jr., (34), passed away on May 14, 2019 in Tacoma Washington. He is survived by his wife Leah Wilson of 11 years, sons DaRon, DeVonté, and DaShaun Wilson.
He was a proud father and enjoyed spending quality time at home making memories. Hearing him call out “Boys!!!” will forever echo in the ears of his sons.
Born in Lakewood, WA, he was the son of Etta and Dwight Wilson Sr, and a brother to Etlouisea Gabriel and William Sellers. He attended Lincoln High school and went on to join the United States Navy where he served alongside his shipmates for 16 years.
He will be remembered for his love of old school music and non-stop singing. He created an atmosphere everywhere he went using nothing more than his infectious personality and unique and joyous laugh.
DC was a generous, kind, loving and encouraging individual. Wit and banter seemed to always be his game of choice. His ability to make you laugh in any situation, and his passion for karaoke made him the life of the party everywhere he went. DC, your presence will be truly missed.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00am in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98409. It will be a Pot Luck service so please bring a dish, dessert or bottle to share.
