Dwayne Lundy's Obituary
Dwayne was born to Robert and Cheryl Beck in San Antonio, TX. When he was 3 weeks old, he moved with his parents to Tempe, AZ. During his early years, he lived in Prescott and Mesa, AZ. When he was 6, his grandparents, Clay & Joan Lundy, adopted him. He attended Christian schools elementary through high school, became a believer in Christ when he was 9 years old.
He enjoyed playing the piano and often performed at his local church for the preludes before service. In high school he enjoyed cross country races, square dancing and round dancing. He graduated from Life Christian Academy in 2002. In 2005, he moved to AZ and began a career as a land surveyor.
He enjoyed riding bicycles and fishing with his grandfather (Robert Duane Beck, Sr. – deceased), fishing and camping with his dad, (Robert Duane Beck Jr. – deceased), and camping, hiking, and off-roading with his friends. He loved to garden especially when it included flowers.
Dwayne was very tender hearted, a hard worker, and a quiet soul. He was always ready to pitch in and fulfill a need before being asked.
He is survived by his adoptive parents/grandparents, Clayton & Joan Lundy; his aunt, Lauren Munson; his cousins; Trevor Munson and Kris Van Hoy; 2 great aunts: Nancy Haugen, and Beryl Olson, and several additional cousins.
He will be dearly missed!
