Duk Hee Kang's Obituary
Born as Duk Hee Lee, she was born in Seoul, Korea on January 27, 1945. As a young adult, in 1974, she moved to the United States. First to San Francisco, later to Hawaii where she got married and lived for 3 years, and finally to Tacoma, Washington, where she put down roots, and had her son Gene Kang in 1981. Throughout her life, she has touched the lives and hearts of many people and has helped raise children of her closest friends selflessly as her own. Through this, she gained another son and daughter, Jimin and Mia Kim. She was an important part of her community and left only love and inspiration in it. She was always a believer and follower of God and all things that aligned with Him, such as kindness, innocence, and selflessness. She loved pups and kitties. In fact she loved all animals. She loved flowers, plants, and all things nature. She loved children and did everything she could to protect them. She truly lived a life of goodness and honor, and inspired all those whose lives were touched by her. She was hardworking, morally strong in principle, and beautiful inside out her whole life. She retained her innocence till the very end and went back home to God on Thursday April 6, 2023 at 6:07pm.
She will be truly missed and needed here on earth by all those who loved her. Her loved ones know that this is just a brief goodbye until someday they meet with her again in Heaven.
We love you so much forever our beautiful beloved Duk Hee Kang.
