Duane Edward Land, 65, passed away at home on January 22, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. His kind smile and loyal heart will be missed,
One of eight children, Duane was born in Auburn, WA on October 11 1949. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda, their children Cindy, Duane Jr., Eric, and Edward, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, four sisters, and many extended family and friends.
Duane was born on October 11, 1949, son of Orien (Del) and Edith Land: .7-fe had three brothers and four sisters (Jim, Marvin, Jon, Mary, Mel-oche, Nancy and 7(athy). Duane attended Visitation Catholic school- and-
Wount Tahoma .7-figh School: gfe graduated in 1967 and joined the 'United States Navy. On November 30, 1968, Duane married his high school- sweetheart, Linda (Ne(son) and a short time Cater, had four children (Cindy, Duane Jr, Eric and Edward) In 1976, Duane and Linda built a new home and lived with their growing family. .7fe worked for Monroe
Ca(cuators when he got out of the service and continued to work in the military reserves. Duane worked for Boyd Coffee Company for 37 years until- he became il-l- with COM and was forced to medicalry retire. .7-fis fast title was Executive Account Analyst. Duane was crushed that he could- no Conger work .7-fe was a workaholic!
Early in 2014, Duane was diagnosed with fling cancer and had radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Duane had eight grandchildren (Christina, Jane(fe, Christian, Cailin, Chase, Victoria, ElTa and gavin) and three great-grandchildren (Lacey, Serenity and giladison).
On January 22, 2015, at the age of 65, Duane passed away at home, surrounded by his Loving family. Yfe is no Conger in pain and is at peace. .7-fis kind smile and l-oyal- heart will- be missed: Words cannot express the impact Duane made on hundreds of lives. Yfe embraced everyone as family, al-ways saw the best in everyone, and was the most positive and influential-person.
Service will be held at 9:30AM on Friday, January 30, 2015
