Janis Byward Heywood
I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Duane. He and my father Laurence Byward were old friends and raced boats together. Later in life they camped in the Sierras with my parents and Karl and Joan Hutchinson who are my aunt and uncle. My husband and I loved camping with them and listening to them tell racing stories, sometimes the same ones over and over. My parents have passed but Duane and Dee exchanged Christmas cards with me every year, so I was sorry to see my card returned last year. Both Dee and Duane were lovely people and fun to be around and talk with. Please accept my condolences on his passing.
