Dr. Thomas Parkinson's Obituary
Dr. Thomas D. Parkinson, COL (Ret.), US Army Dental Corps Left his earthly life Friday, April 30, 2010, at Madigan Army Medical Center. Tom was born on January 18, 1940 to Frank and Dorothy Parkinson in Columbus, Ohio. He was a proud graduate of Ohio State University of both undergraduate and Dental schools. Tom served his country in Viet Nam as a dentist with the Big Red One, received the Bronze Star as well as numerous other awards and commendations throughout his lifelong military career. He love the Lord Jesus and was a long-time member of the Ft. Lewis Main Post Chapel Protestant Congregation.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, of 37 years. Nancy has requested that donations be made in Tom's name to: The Refuge, 2275 Duckabush Rd, Brinnon, WA. 98320. Call 253-581-5678 for details of funeral services.
