Dr. G. Blaine's Obituary
Dr. Blaine Johnson died July 17, 2005 at his home. He was born in Othello on July 2, 1915. His family soon moved to Tacoma. He married Mabel Conner on October 9, 1938. Blaine attended dental school and practiced dentistry in Tacoma until his retirement in 1980. He and Mabel were active with the Tacoma and Pierce County Humane Society for many years, and enjoyed raising dogs, especially boxers. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Blaine was preceded in death by his wife Mabel, daughter and son-in-law Rosalena and Dick Johnson, grandson Rick and sister Betty (Johnson) Hunsberger. He is survived by his grandsons Steve Johnson (and Pricilla), Don Johnson, and two great-granddaughters Felirose and Rochelle. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2005 in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, or the Tacoma and Pierce County Humane Society.
