Dr. Brown delivered me in 1959 and was my doctor all my young life, seeing me through my childhood traumas, dieseases and growing pains up until his retirement. I adored the man and looked up to him like a father. When I think of him, I can still hear his good hearted teasing which never failed to turn my complexion 3 shades of red.
I guess I always thought of him as immortal and am saddened by his passing though heartened by knowing he enjoyed a wonderfully full and long retirement.
God bless you Dr. Brown where ever you are and God bless and keep your family. I am a better person (and healthier!) for you having been a major part of my formative years. I have some wonderful memories of you Sir. Thank you for your ever-present tenderness, kindnesses and caring, there whenever I needed it. I can only hope we'll meet again someday.
