Dorothy J. Smith's Obituary
Dottie was born on January 12, 1925 and passed away peacefully on January 21, 2016 at her home. She moved to Tacoma from Wenatchee, WA in the late 1940’s and remained in Tacoma for the rest of her life, loving the beauty on this side of the mountains.
Dottie was a wonderful mom and friend. She was also a life-long Episcopalian. She loved her family, friends and her church.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Craig Johnson), son, Pau l(Deborah), grandchildren, Robert and Desirea, great grandchild, Belina and grand dog, Pogo. Predeceased by her husband, Lyle J. (Jim) Smith in 1996.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 7410 So. 12th. Street, Tacoma, WA. Reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrew’s Memorial Fund in Dottie’s name would be appreciated.
