Dorothy Jean Schmidt passed peacefully on January 3, 2018 with loved ones near.
She was born in Hoquiam, WA on July 26, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents Irene and Wilfred Sargeant, and her husband James Schmidt and is now by his side.
She is survived by her daughter Linda. Son Robert, and his children Aaron and Jennifer, Grandchildren Emma (Ryan), Cody (Sabrina), Parker, Alden, Avry and Great-Grandson, Elliott. Son Donald and his late wife Peggy, their daughters, Michelle and Valarie (Joshua) and Grandchildren, Katelyn, Elijah, Jackson, Ava and Great-Granddaughter Joslyn. Son Michael (Laura) and their children, Breihana and Steven, and Grandchildren Piper, Malaree and Lucas. Daughter Susanne (Phil) and their daughter Nicole and Grandson, Wyatt.
Dorothy was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother and friend who put faith and family first.
She loved to bake, sew, knit, crochet and work on crafts. She was a strong woman of faith, who had a calm and quiet spirit with a serving heart; she graciously listened to, accepted and loved all. She was truly a blessing.
