My deepest sympathy to Johnnie and all his family. Though I didn't know Dorothy personally, I worked many years with Johnnie, and know how devoted he was to her. I'm sure the whole family feels the deep loss that Johnnie feels. His deep, abiding faith will see him through this sorrowful time, with the knowledge that they will be together again when the time is right. May God bless the family and friends who mourn Dorothy.##imported-begin##Dorothy Willis##imported-end##

A little poem by Harold F. Mohn is appropriate for Dorothy:
I have known the heights of happiness, The depths of despair, And at each point I always found That God was present there. I have known the feeling of success, And that of failure too, And when my luck is down and out, God helped me start anew. I have known all life's temptations That tear the soul apart, But I placed them all behind me, For God was in my heart.

I didn't know Mrs Shinn very well but she had to be a wonderful woman who inspired many. I'm just thankful to have been touched by the love and caring of Mr Shinn while working for him at McChord.##imported-begin##Lynne Kaser##imported-end##

Uncle Johnnie, Philip, Paula and Peggy,
Sitting here thinking of Aunt Dorothy, I am reminded of how she could light up any room with her presence.
Your loved one is now in Jesus' strong arms, where she will sweetly rest. For that is where the angels have taken her so she can be happy and blessed.
No more will she fear today or tomorrow, nor will she know pain or sorrow. Only joy and lasting peace since her soul has been safely released.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends, but we will see her one day again. Where life with Jesus will never have to end.##imported-begin##Gwendolyn Osuji##imported-end##
