Dorothy L. SwainSunrise on Oct. 6, 1929, sunset on June 23, 2003 after a lengthy battle of cancer. She leaves to mourn two daughters; Diana (Aaron) Miller and Regina Lackland of Tacoma, 14 grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and a host of loving relatives and devoted friends. Visitation will be from 1pm to 9pm on June 30, 2003 at Mt. View Funeral Home. The family will be present from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Services will be held, Tues. July 1, 2003 at 11:00 am in Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4818 East Portland Ave., Tacoma. In her remembrance, donations can be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Family Life Center or the American Cancer Society.
