Dorothy Jean RollagOur mother, grandmother, and Auntie Jean died Friday, July 11, 2003, at Park Rose Care Center. She was born to Jesse and Edith Kale in Everson, WA, and outlived her six siblings.She had a long career with JC Penney before becoming an important part of two family businesses, Columbia Sausage Co. and Jim Rollag Mobile Home Sales, as well as cook and first mate on the family boat. After retirement, Jim & Jean spent many winters at their home in Mesa, AZ.She was preceded in death by her husband James and granddaughter Ranee, and son-in-law Jerry Dodson. Survivors include her son Jim (Lois) and daughter Judy, grandchildren Rob and Kim, and six great grandchildren.The family owes thanks to the wonderful staff at Park Rose, and enormous gratitude to Multicare Hospice of Tacoma for their genuine concern and expertise in the last weeks of JeanÂ's life. She would thank you if she could. No services are planned at this time.
