Dorothy Gilderoy's Obituary
Born June 3, 1918 to Charles and Julia Taylor in Roundup, MT. She passed away September 28, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Dorothy was preceded in death by her devoted and beloved husband of 64 years, David, and one son William MacGregor. Dorothy is survived by three of her children; Chuck (Arlene), Jim (Geri) and Ellie; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.After her family was grown, Dorothy worked for Rhodes department store, Frederick & Nelson, and belonged to the Retail Clerks Union. Dorothy was devoted to her entire family, gardening, family gatherings, camping, or just going and doing something were her passions. Better yet, if there was a party or a gathering, and she could wear a hat that was the ultimate party.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden Chapel at Mt. View Funeral Home.
