Dorothy G. Wintermute's Obituary
Dorothy was born on the family homestead in Hobart Township Valley City, ND. She was an active member of the Eagles for 55 years. She loved to go camping and to work in her flower gardens. She enjoyed puzzles and would spend many happy hours working on a puzzle. She enjoyed her hummingbird feeders, watching the birds as they would feed at the feeder. She worked at Nalley's Fine Foods in the chip plant for a number of years, and retired from there. Dorothy worked for the Puyallup Fair for over 20 years. She attended Mass at St. Columban of Yelm faithfully. After the passing of her husband Don, she cared for herself and was very self-sufficient.
She is survived by sons Warren Loendorf (Bev), Donald Wintermute (Kay), Leslie (Bud) Wintermute (Edie), daughter Patricia Sorensen (Jim), sisters and brothers Inez Driscoll of Billings, MT, Katherine Kvislen (Carl)Eof Finley, ND, Joseph Loendorf (Mavis) of Valley City, ND. She has 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers Lawrence Loendorf, Gene Loendorf, sisters Florence Kvislen, Clara Schilling, Doris Loendorf, and a grandson, Dean Sorensen.
The service will be held at 3pm Thursday, June 10, 2010 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel. Please make memorial donations to the Heart Fund or the Cancer Fund in her name.
