Dorothy Lucille Bonewitz Chickering Albright Warmbier's Obituary
Dorothy was born on July 20th, 1934, in Chehalis, WA. She passed away on June 14th, 2024.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and 5 children. Our youngest brother Steven Albright passed away on July 21st, 2021.
She is survived by her 3 daughters Linda Duley, Barbara (Dan) Chickering-Klewin, Dellena (Mark) Lunde and their families.
Dorothy greatly enjoyed having 5 generations in her family for many years. She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Dorothy was a lifelong devoted Christian and very active in many church activities. She had a lovely singing voice and was in her church choir. She also served on her church floral committee, making many beautiful flower arrangements for her church services.
In her youth she loved cars and bought her own 57 Chevy that she raced and won many races in.
She loved trout fishing both locally and at Lake Conconully in Eastern Washington; also, one of her favorite camping spots.
She so enjoyed having a large family. She also loved her many friends. Her best friends were Inga Sanborn (dec.), Indrea Stewart (dec.) and her dear friend Shirley Joe.
She played piano by ear. Never taking any piano lessons. She also played the violin.
Dorothy retired from Good Samaritan Hospital Mental Health Center in Puyallup where she was a bookkeeper.
Dorothy was liked and very loved by many people, both family and friends. She will be very missed by all of us.
