Dorothy Anne (Redpath) LaneDorothy Lane, 87, passed away July 7, 2003 at home in Olalla, WA. She was born April 3, 1916 in Chico, WA. She lived for many years in Tacoma and raised a family in University Place.She graduated from Central Kitsap High School, and was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Tacoma. She retired as a custodian from the University of Puget Sound at the age of 70.Dorothy was a very kind and generous person and spent much of her time gardening, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her children.She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and William Redpath; sister, Stella Larson of Stanwood; daughter, Gail Quimby of Beavercreek, ORShe is survived by sister, Charlotte Hermon of Bellevue; brother, Robert (Jean) Redpath of Chico, CA; daughter, Nancy Sullivan of Olalla; son, William (Luscinda) Lane of New Jersey; grandchildren, Robert, Sandra, Richard, Gregory, Billy, David, Burnaze; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Bobby, Colton, Katherine, Ogie, and Julian.Remembrances may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, P.O. Box 3416, Silverdale, WA, 98383. Special thanks to granddaughter, Sandi Rogers of Gig Harbor for all of her love and care.Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until 9 P.M., Thursday, July 10th and from 9 A.M. until 12:30 P.M., Friday, July 11th.Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, July 11, 2003 at the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
