Born 2-21-25 in Minnesota, she died peacefully on 6-7-11. Dorothy graduated from Lincoln High School. She retired from Tacoma City Light after 30 years. She was a past president of the VFW, and a member of the Puyallup Eagles. She enjoyed pinochle, bingo, gardening, reading and spending time at her beach house. She felt blessed to have a large family. She attended church at Evergreen Baptist. She is survived by her brother Ronald Steele (Mardell), sister Evelyn Cousins, brother-in-law Fred Bradford; children Ralph Rawley (Dixie), Diane Peterson (Pete), MaryAnne Burton (Joe), Jill Jaque (Dave), James Rawley (Wendy), Karla Asplund (Dan), Nancy Palagruti and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by children Clifford Rawley, Nancy Hanson, Kathleen Slack, and Michael Rawley, and husbands Ralph Rawley and Joe Palagruti. Viewing will be from 12:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Mountain View Funeral Home, with services at 1:00 PM Monday, June 13 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel. Mom, we loved you deeply and we will miss you.
