Doris McGuire's Obituary
Doris Carol McGuire, a homemaker and longtime resident of Tacoma, Wash. died Nov. 13. She was 82.
Doris was born on April 15, 1930 in Hoquiam, Wash. to Stanley and Carolyn Ackley. She married George McGuire in 1949. George and Doris lived in Washington most of their lives. Both George and Doris enjoyed gardening and loved to take their two sons on camping and fishing vacations.
Doris is survived by her sons, John McGuire and his wife Teresa and Steve McGuire and his wife Patti; four grandchildren, Sarah Reijonen and her husband Chris, Jonathan, Melissa and Daniel McGuire. Doris is also survived by three brothers and one sister, Alfred, Charles and Sherman Ackley and Margret McGuire.
The funeral will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the Garden Chapel of the Mountain View Memorial Park. In lew of flowers the family requests you send a contribution to the Tacoma Rescue Mission.
