Doris Mae Quigley's Obituary
A lifetime resident of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on September 20, 2007 at Life Care Center of Puyallup.Doris was married to Donald E. Quigley until his passing in 1986. Together they raised and are survived by their children; Keith and wife Gayle, Dennis, Roger and partner Carla, David and wife Pilar, Neal and wife Kristi, Ellen and partner Ric. She was a proud grandmother of fifteen and great-grandmother of ten.Doris enjoyed volunteering her time helping others. She was a 25-year volunteer with the Pierce County Chapter of RSVP. She volunteered with the DARE program along with Donald until his passing. They were also active participants in the Boy Scouts of America. She enjoyed Bingo, and played as often as possible, going to the theater, spending time with family and friends, and bowling. She was a member of the Express bowling league in Tacoma, for approaching 60 years, and was the league secretary for the past approximately 20 years.Viewing will be Tuesday, Sept. 25th from 1:00-9:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services are being arranged by, and will be held at, Mountain View Funeral Home in the Aspen Chapel, Celebration of Life Center, on Wednesday, Sept. 26th at 1:00 PM.
