Doris Loretta Knutson
Doris Loretta Knutson went home to be with Jesus Monday November 9, 2009. Born March 31, 1922, she was the beautiful daughter of Sherman and Mabel Barden. In 1940, she married the love of her life, William (Bill) Knutson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1954 they moved to Washington where Bill worked as a cement mason and Doris worked as retail clerk. They lived in Tacoma, Lacey and Puyallup. Doris was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Milan. She is survived by her sons Gary (Sally), Ken (Starr) and Don (Lynda), foster daughter Sandy Naquin, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be November 14 at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park, at the Garden Chapel, in Lakewood.
