Doris Jean Larsen
A long time resident of Puyallup, Doris passed away at age 79 on October 7th. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on August 21, 1929 to Milton and Agnes Toburen. After graduating from Puyallup High School in 1947, she married Lawrence -Å"Bud- Larsen, her loving husband of 60 years. For 20 years, Doris was an employee of Atlas Foundry, in Tacoma, retiring in 1984 as Data Processing Supervisor.
Doris was a loving and devoted mother to Gary (Margo) and Linda (Doug); grandmother to Christopher (Karla), Kirsti (Chad), Nicholas (Candace), and Kenna; and great grandmother to Cody, Colten, Gracie, and Conner.
Doris loved her family, bingo, and penny slot machines. She will be greatly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have had their lives touched by her. We love you forever, Mom, and will miss you always.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mountain View Funeral Home, in Lakewood. Viewing will be on Friday, October 10, 3-9 pm. Memorial service to be held at 12pm on Saturday, October 11, at Mountain View's Celebration of Life Center, with reception to follow.
